About Us
At the Chippewa Valley Free Clinic, our mission is to provide health services and advocacy for the members of our community that have no health care alternative. Residents of Eau Claire and surrounding communities are able to come to see medical providers and fill prescriptions at no cost to them. The history of CVFC illustrates the remarkable impact caring and dedicated individuals can make in the lives of others.
The clinic staff is comprised of six individuals whose hours are equivalent to three full-time positions. All other work done at the clinic is volunteer based; currently over 200 people of medical and non-medical backgrounds donate their time and talent to the clinic’s cause. Our mission is also supported by community members and local companies who donate much needed money and supplies. The clinic is in downtown Eau Claire, but CVFC serves people from many other parts of Wisconsin as well, totaling over 5,800 patients since 1997.
